The healthy indices (健康指数) of 70+ old folks

所谓 :“七十古来稀 ” meaning : very few could live over 70 years old in the olden days. But nowadays old folks over 70 are very common all over the world. Long life is meaningless if you are not healthy. You could check your own healthy index simply by the following ways : You are healthy if (i) You could swim 5 rounds in the standard swimming pool without pause. (ii) You could run (slowly or quickly) for 2 km without pause. (iii) You could climb up the staircase to 8 floors without panting. (iv) You could play table tennis for 2 hrs without pause. (v) You could cycle 5 km without pause.  At last, I would like to tell you my healthy index that I am nearly 80 years old still could play table tennis for 3 hrs without pause in Bukit Panjang c.c. every Tuesday and Friday morning ! (NB: whenever you do exercise, once you feel panting, you should stop instantly because that symptom indicates your brain/heart is lack of oxygen/blood. Otherwise you might have giddiness even blackout further more sudden death if you already had heart problem before ! After the exercise You should not take cold-bath. Many people collapsed in the bathroom because of the blood pressure going up rapidly to cause stroke !)
